Vuurdoop has been in the making for a long time. It is a further step forward in sound quality and sonic sophistication, and it might just be the most achieved and professional Pels album to date. The mood is often dark and disturbing. Beats and melodies are both present but the latter often stay in the background. After Cotty Time Budge I wanted to try and create tracks with less predictable structures, and use sounds created in less common ways. A rather experimental album, but please don’t let that prevent you from giving it a try.
